"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The access to the rooftop bar was such a lovely perk. The room was well maintained and efficient for the space. An excellent place to stay, whether in town for a concert at Capital One Arena a block away, or hopping on the Chinatown Metro to any other destination in DC. Any time we ran into hotel staff, they were personable and helpful! We will certainly be staying here on our next DC venture."

"Our stay at the Yotel in Washington DC was great. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They go above and beyond to assist. 💕 I would have liked to use the pool—however I’ll have to come back! Check in/out are a breeze, no waiting in line unless there’s a question or issue. The only real negative is the lack of a coffee machine in the room. This would really make our stay exceptional. There is limited coffee provided on the 2nd floor—however most hotels have this accessible at all times. We were able to get a mini fridge which I greatly appreciated as I was travelling with two kids. Parking is easy and underneath the hotel, which made it easy to transport our items. The location is minutes from Union station and about 10-15 min from the Smithsonian museums. Great location! Thank you for a great stay."

"The hotel was advertising daily housekeeping but when I got there I was given a card saying they only clean on the third night. They also made me pay almost $7 for bottled water and had no other water options available. The staff was nice but I had to look twice to make sure I was lodging at a marriott. My points were not added until I reminded them at check out and even then, they only applied 2 of the 4 days that I stayed."

"I’m disgusted. I needed a two day stay on a really short notice, and the pricing was okay. The pics are not up to date or representative of what I saw. Every surface (sink, countertop, desk, headboard, baseboards) was chipped or cracked. 3 small sofa pillows laid across the king sized bed. The tv was a flat screen from 2006 with no WiFi connection, and only basic cable. MY SINK WOULD NOT DRAIN. I asked on my second day of when they cleaned my room (room 118) if they could make sure to clear it. I left at 9 am and returned at 4:30. No one came to clean. I waited and No one ever came. I’m surprised I could even sleep there. The staff were not friendly and did not care that the place was falling apart. It was on par with the pricing of other motels, but I’m confident the place would not pass industry inspection. The worst part was my room had an adjoining door so thin I felt like I had roommates. When they came in twice while I was sleeping, it felt like someone was breaking into my room. I’m not a snob. I’ve stayed in 70-100 dollar a night rooms, and have been perfectly fine. I do not need luxury amenities, but this place was absolutely disgusting. At least make the bed and give me a fresh towel! At least address the flooding sink! Never again. How do you hold $100 for incidentals when every feature of the room was falling apart? I can’t wait to get home to shower, that is how disgusting I feel. Every staff member avoided eye contact, because they know how poor the place is."
