DESCRIPTION  


This amazing property is located in the heart of Baywood, Los Osos. This 360 square foot cottage accommodates three guests comfortably with the consideration of a dog as well. This cottage is within walking distance of the Bay where you can find endless trails and places to explore water activities, restaurants, bars and local brew houses. The outside patio is enclosed with a gate and fence that faces the street. Please make sure to use our BBQ during sunset so you can sit, eat, and take in all the spectacular views. If you find yourself wanting to leave your cozy cottage you can travel North towards Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, San Simeon and as far as Big Sur. Traveling South will take you towards San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, and Arroyo Grande. If you are a wine lover head on over to Paso Robles which is an award winning wine destination!!! You will not be let down by its abundance of wineries, breweries and tasting rooms downtown. (it's about a fifty minute drive from your cottage.)

Attention

This cottage is located to the right of a public laundromat and across from a mobile home park.The laundromat is open to the public and used regularly throughout the day. These machines are coin operated. The mobile home park is occupied by families and children so please be aware of your noise and activity level. Our community takes great pride in having a respectful and safe neighborhood. 




Parking

As our special guest(s) you are granted one off-street parking space on the property. Parking is straight towards the back of the driveway entry.  Please be courteous of the neighboring vehicles and space around you as there is only one way for egress. If you have more than one vehicle please park the second vehicle on the street (free of charge). 




Dog Policy

Cottage #2 is dog friendly. An extra pet stay charge of $50 applies for bookings with a dog. Dogs weighing under 50 pounds with low shedding are permitted, while those over 50 pounds with low shedding will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you plan to bring your furry family member, kindly inform the host at the time of booking. Thank you! Please don’t ever leave your dog unattended at anytime during your visit, even if it's outside. Make sure that you pick up after your dog on and around the property. Our beds and linens are not suitable for dogs to lay on. Bring appropriate items such as a dog bed to ensure your dog has a comfortable place to sleep. If there is damage to furniture, property due to your dog there may be an extra charge added at check out. We thank you for understanding.

Baywood offers a variety of activities during the year; including free live music and entertainment in some places. Come take advantage of our safe, social events and bring the whole family! 

Farmers Market\- On Mondays from 2pm-4:30pm  you can explore Farmers Market and shop from your favorite local produce and shops. 

Sea Pines Golf Course- Sea Pines offers free live music outside for families and children on Saturdays.  Bring your own lawn chair or set up "picnic style" while you  enjoy food and beverages from the bar. Often times there will be bounce houses and slides for children as well. 

Montana De Oro State Park- Take a short drive towards the beach! Once entering the state park you will have trails, coves, beaches and peaks to explore. There is a trail/walk for everyone at every level. 

Elfin Forest- Is adjacent to the Morro Bay estuary. The Elfin Forest is known for its pygmy oaks, seabirds and coastal panoramas.This board walk style loop makes it convenient for those traveling with dogs or children. 

Los Osos gets limited service from Lyft, Uber and taxi services due to location in a semi remote area. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please plan accordingly.

Keeping our guests safe and our cottages clean is our top priority. We follow an extensive list of cleaning and sanitizing instructions. Please refer to the Baywood Cottage binder located on top of the peninsula for reference. 

About the Hosts

Retreat Vacation Rentals is here for anything you need but will respect your time and privacy. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We will do our best to respond promptly, but please note our response time may take longer than usual due to family and child obligations/routines. When texting a host please make sure to include your name and cottage number so that we can help you as efficiently as possible.

Baywood is a charming small beach community that sits right on the back bay. It has great spots to eat and hang out and is close to San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria and more! Please take a look at our Guidebook for suggestions and let us know if you have anything in particular that you're looking to do! Kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, the spa, bars, etc! There is a laundromat onsite that locals use regularly throughout the day. Please be mindful of their presence. These machines take coins but are not up to date. The public is welcome to use them as well as Baywood Cottage guests. Please keep in mind that Baywood Cottage is located across the street from a mobile home park. This space is occupied by families and children so please be respectful with noise and activity. Thank you for understanding.

Everything you need is within walking distance a bike ride or a short drive. Please take into consideration that Uber, Lyft and taxi's have limited availability due to location in a semi remote area.
By booking this property you are agreeing to the terms and conditions in this rental agreement. Please read carefully.

AGENCY DISCLOSURE. Archer Wilkinson Inc. DBA Retreat Vacation Rentals serves as the Agent and representative of all owners of vacation rental properties in its rental program, and is acting at all times, in and for the best interests of the owners.

PARTIES. This Short-Term Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made on {{reservation_date}} between the “Host” Archer Wilkinson, Inc. DBA {{host_name}} (“RVR”), an agent for the homeowner “Owner” of the property (“Rental Property”), and the “Guest” and/or “You” {{guest_name}}, along with invitees, guests, and/or agents, sometimes individually referred to as a “party” and sometimes jointly referred to as the “parties,” agree as follows:

RENTAL PROPERTY. The Host agrees to lease the property described below to the Guest, who agrees to rent {{listing_name_of_listing}} from the Host. Hereinafter referred to as the "rental property."

LEASE TERM. The Guest shall occupy the rental property from {{checkin_date}} ({{checkin_time}}) to {{checkout_date}} ({{checkout_time}}) ("Lease Term").

OCCUPANTS. The total number of guests staying on the rental property during the Lease Term shall not exceed {{number_of_guests}} individuals.

If additional guests are found on the rental property, the Host reserves the right to terminate this Agreement.

RVR reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under the age of twenty-five (25) for any stay less than thirty (30) days in duration.

RENTAL PROPERTY. The rental property coincides with the title of the property on RetreatVacationRentals.com. Any information pertaining to the property advertised under the direct control of RVR, using the Retreat Vacation RentalsTM brand, should be considered reliable but will not be warrantied. RVR will not warranty statements and/or claims made by third parties.

For security reasons, RetreatVacationRentals.com does not include the physical address of the property in the listing. This information can be obtained by reaching out to RVR prior to Guest’s arrival. This information will be given to guests within 48 hours of their arrival date.

PAYMENT. Payment in full is due upon the Guest's reservation date. The Guest may choose to make payment using one of the following accepted forms: check, money order, VISA, or MasterCard.

If payment is not received by the sixtieth (60th) day in advance of the Guest's arrival, the reservation will not be considered canceled. In such cases, the Guest authorizes RVR to charge the provided credit card for any unpaid balance.

If no credit card is available, or if the card declines, the reservation will be canceled.

CANCELLATION. Reservations are considered booked and a portion of the service rendered when the Guest's reservation payment is received. To cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation must be in writing and received more than thirty (30) days prior to the Guest's arrival date. If such notice is timely provided, RVR will refund the sums paid by the Guest, less any applicable Credit Card fees.

Please note that based on the Guest's promise to perform as outlined herein, RVR executes various contracts with vendors, property owners, employees, and contractors when a booking is made. In addition, RVR incurs marketing costs, commissions, and transaction fees as bookings are made. Therefore, there is an opportunity cost associated with the Guest's encumbrance of reserved dates.

Cute cottage!
The cottage is small but perfect for the 2 of us plus one dog! They DID have one luggage rack and an entire closet with hangers, which we appreciated because we were there for 4 nights. The neighborhood is VERY friendly! The walk to the bay was only 8 minutes with a pooch who smells everything. Great pub {Beerwood?} with good food, great coffee shop, Thai food. We missed the bakery behind us because it's only open Fri-Monday. Short drive to Montana de Oro and Morro Bay. We loved it and will stay here if we get to return. I brought extra kitchen towels but prob didn't need them.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. Very conveniently located by Montana De Oro, Los Osos, and Morro Bay Rock. We like going up to Cambria and walking Moonstone. Can't be the price and the managers always provide info in a prompt manner.
