"While this property is a bit dated, they do a good job overall maintaining it. While the rooms are not the most modern, they have some of the most comfortable beds and pillows! That says a lot being a spend three plus months a year sleeping at hotels. I stay here every year for an industry event. The gentleman that runs catering for on-site events is amazing! He and his team sincerely care when it comes to food service. And the catered food provided never disappoints. The property itself is in an ideal location. It is very convenient to get around if using as a homebase for visiting Portland metro as well. The rates are reasonable as well, especially based on location. The only negative is the $31 per-day parking fee. Like come on, don't penalize people for a city that isn't as walkable as some."

"This hotel is perfectly located if you need to go to the Moda center or Memorial center. We had a few issues with our faucet, the hot tub did not have bubbles, pool is not heated, and the area around the hotel is rough. The food was excellent, the staff at the restaurant was amazing. The bar was packed on Friday for the concert. We waited and waited and eventually had to leave as we were in a time crunch. As we left the bar tender approached us and apologized and offered us free breakfast the next day. She was amazing! Our room was nice. But we felt that the hotel has slipped a bit over the years."
