"Prior to our stay, we received a few messages from the hotel that the lobby would be under renovations from Dec 1, 2025-Feb 28, 2026 and that, during this time, the entrance would be relocated to the back of the building. These dates didn’t affect our stay so we didn’t think much of it, but we were very surprised to arrive and find the construction was still underway weeks later. The room was adequate for the price, but the rest of the hotel was in some disrepair. The elevators were dingy and we had trouble checking in because there were issues with the computer systems. Every morning, we were woken by banging noises coming from below around 6:30 AM — we’re not sure if this was related to the construction but it for difficulties sleeping. From what we can see, the lobby will be nice and modern, and daily progress can be seen, albeit slow. We just wish the hotel could have been more transparent about their renovation timelines — no construction was mentioned at the time of booking and even up to the day of check-in, the hotel told renovations were finished. "
