« The space is beautiful inside and out, we struggled with the gate lock the first couple of times we used it, it started to loosen up the more we used it. The frogs come alive at night and give you a symphony. If you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping bring ear plugs. We will absolutely stay here again. »

« This property was unique and we're so happy to chose to stay here.Pros: The views are incredible and the outdoor living spaces were very comfortable - in particular we spent a lot of time on the high top chairs, sofa bed, and two person dining table. The kitchen was fully stocked and operational with everything we needed. The bedroom was perfectly sized and comfortable. It was so easy to access Manini Beach (you can walk). By staying in Captain Cook you have a much more "locals" experience....

« We had such a wonderful stay. The home is beautifully built, well maintained and we felt right at home. The host gave so many great recommendations and showed how much she cared from our arrival to departure. We highly recommend this home and stay in Volcano being so close to Kīlauea was great. We loved being in the quiet mountains and enjoyed our time around the home with peaceful outdoor space as well. We hope to return again one day! »

« I loved the secret garden the owner had constructed! The property could be a bit tricky to find, I would recommend to check in before dark. There are great dining options nearby, including vegetarians. »
