It was a great room, and it was very close to the station. It was a bit small, particularly the bathroom, but otherwise it was perfect. The hotel staff was very nice to us and helped us with everything whenever we needed help.
I booked a single private room from this guesthouse because of it's affordable price and central location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I wanted a private room and bathroom at a cheap price and this guesthouse fulfilled that. The room was quite small but manageable. What I really loved about this place is that there's a TV and a mini fridge in it despite being a guesthouse with a small room. Also, I'm truly grateful for the location. A lot of tourist destinations are within a walking distance. A lot of restaurants and entertainment venue just outside the guesthouse, and even the "Youth Plaza" or food street within 2 minutes walk. Cheonggyecheon stream is 5-10 minutes walk, so you can easily go there in the morning. Subway/Transportation is also a big plus since it's a minute walk from Jonggak station and 5-10 minutes walk to Jongno-3ga station which has 2 transfer lines. After going out in the morning, I can easily go back to the guesthouse to recharge my energy or change clothes if i want to and then head out again for another adventure. I find the location very convenient for touring around.
I have stayed at another guesthouse and hostel around Seoul but by far this one is the best. Other places don't offer a TV or a mini fridge or at least an extra towel, and they are even more expensive than this guesthouse. I would definitely book and stay at 24 Guesthouse again if I get a chance.
This was our second stay at this hotel. It is perfectly located for site seeing. The staff is spot on with everything. Friendly and respectable always. Rooms are excellent with amenities, bedding, views of city, and all around cleanness in all areas of hotel. Love the showers! Enjoyed the Club Room on the 28th floor for hors d'oeuvres, drinks, night views of the city of Seoul and breakfast the next morning. Also the Charles H Bar is a great experience for feeling like you have gone back to the 1920's. Just enjoyed all around. Hope to return soon.

Combining Seouls fascinating blend of Old World tradition and new-wave cool, Four Seasons Hotel Seoul brings the Four Seasons …More
This a traditional Guest house in Soeul, so the room and the bed are traditional.
I wanted to have an authentic experience while visiting Seoul, since all hotels are pretty much the same, some have more luxuries than others but for travelers who go alone feels the same.
The guesthouse host is a really nice guy he will help you with all you need and will give you indications and nice tours to do. I had something to do everyday thanks to him.
The location is very good since you can get metro and hotel shuttle within a 5 minutes walk , see temples and local neighborhoods in a walking range.
The price is good since Seoul is an expensive city.
I would recommend this guesthouse to all travelers because in some future, such places will disappear due to the high competition hotel market, and the experience is worth it. Remember is a guest house not a five star hotel. But I prefer this kind of experiences.
It was a great stay, the owner was nice to prepare us traditional korean breakfast. It was an easy access to the MRT. There is also a bus station right after you exit to the main road. This bus station you can take a bus straight to Incheon International Airport.
the subway is just infront of the hotel. staying at jongno 3 ga is very convenience to go to many places as it is really at the central. staff able to speak English/mandarin. free drinks and popcorn. spacious room with 2 computers and a nice Jacuzzi bathtub. no bad review so far.
I stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for 5 nights. Staff were kind and welcoming in general, and room condition was okay, but apparently they don't turn on the air conditioning until Summer.
At the time of stay (end of March to beginning of April) the weather was getting warmer and the room temperature reached around 27-29 degrees celsius, but whenever I called the hotel front desk about the temperature, they just said the central hotel air conditioning was not switched on and there was nothing they could do. I didn't expect much from a business hotel, but I am not sure if it is too much to ask for a hotel to have a working air conditioning.
