"We stayed in 5 different hotels during our visit to South Korea. Of the 2 in Seoul, Amid was easier to identify and get to. It was very safe as the Jongno police station was across the street. We walked to Insadong shopping within minutes, and Ikseondong food in about 10 minutes. Plenty of everything you need within a few minutes of walking distance. The breakfast buffet was delicious every day with offerings from Western and Korean cultures, and espresso machine coffee or lattes, tea, milk or...

"My family and I stayed at Banana Backpackers for five nights. The staff was very helpful. Directions were available for getting to a variety of sites using public transportation. An MTR/subway stop was within walking distance. We would stay here again if we visit Seoul."

"Was a little worried about the slope situation many have mentioned in their reviews when I was considering this hotel, but in reality, it is really not that bad (may still be a challenge for elderly and someone with mobility issues). Great location. Easy walk to Namdaemun Market and lots of eateries. Close to Namsan Park/Tower (we didn't have time to visit ourselves). Close to buses and subways.
