"What an unexpectedly seamless stay! There was a shuttle bus that met us at the Shinkansen station that took us to the Onsen. When we arrived, we were ushered to a comfortable lobby for check-in. The bellman showed us the entire hotel and onsen, and walked us through our kimonos and slippers. Lovely breakfast, lovely rooms, lovely Onsen... and another free shuttle back to the Shinkansen station. We will definitely return! "

"There was a stain on the tatami floor. It also seems to be the season when small insects or cockroaches appear. Despite staying on a high floor with no windows open, I noticed these bugs in the common areas. It would be good if the staff could address this issue rather than letting them roam freely in those spaces."

"Rommet vi hadde var stort, men sengene var helt forferdelig å sove på. Madrassene og putene var veldig tynne. Onsen var fin, men for noen som ikke har prøvd en onsen før var det litt vanskelig å vite hvordan man skulle følge reglene. Frokosten var flott presentert og satt opp, men smakte ikke all verdens. "Very nice hotel. Best feature was the Onsen . Staff was amazingly friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast included for our stay it had a lot of variety. We had the option to be shuttled to 4 different ski resorts nearby . They picked us up when we arrived at the bus stop we made prior arrangements with them. They shuttled us to the train station when we departed. For supper we made reservations at nearby restaurants the Lime resort shuttled us there and we walked back about 12 min after...

"I had a traditional Japanese room. It was super comfortable - and the view from my window of Happo One was beautiful! It was convenient walk to restaurants and bars. The Happo One gondola was a bit of a hike - but definitely within easy walking distance is the Hakuba Happo bus station. Easy to get to other mountains via the shuttle."
