Easy going. Clean. Nice breakfast. I am vegetarian and I was a bit limited but made do. A lot of fish/meat dishes. Skiing: easy free shuttles from the hotel and back. They have cheaper lift tickets for sale at the hotel. Had a nice home cooked meal nearby. The only issue is most of the laundry machines were out of service and the one available took 4 hours and the clothes were still damp. The Onsen was beautiful with an outside area to watch the snowfall.
