5/5 - Excellent
Transport to areas we wanted to see around Lake Kawaguchi on the Fuji Hakone Pass was easy but could get crowded. And we we visited on a weekday. Pack your patience and try not to be carrying too much luggage!

It was a nice break in between Tokyo and Kyoto visit - lots of nature activities with beautiful view of Fuji mountain.
We booked three nights, two different bookings as we decided to come a day earlier. They tried to Leroy us in the same room for the second booking even though we paid more for a “deluxe” room for the last two nights.
If you want to view Mt. Fuji or hike it, or go to Fuji-Q, this is a great base.
Area was very crowded and touristy even during off peak season. Stations and roads felt very overburdened with people, cars and buses. Poor transportation option such as some buses that only come every 2 hours. Had to spend a lot extra on Cabs.
Quiet during the winter time, but still enjoyable. I imagine it's much nicer during the spring, summer and autumn months.
