Comfort beds. A bit dusappointed that becsuse we didn't go with the dinner package tgst we could not eat in the hotel except to order room service. There are a lot of other restaurants within driving distance though. I highly revommend '38 Kawaguchiko', a quaint Italian place owned by a sweet coipke with outstanding food. In pics, it looks like there is an outside hot tub but there is not. I asked a man for an extra pillow one evening ( the heavier man) and he said there were none. I said "really?", he replied "yes, really". It was clear to me that he just didn't want to bother. The next day, across the hall from our room there was a housekeeping room with extra pillows which a lovely male housekeeper had no issue with govong me. We arrived late at night and they were very helpful with check-in and once we realized I had left a cellphone behind in the taxi they were very quick to help us find it and contact the taxi company. They even waited outside (insisted even) to get my phone, after they saw me waiting for the taxi driver to return. The beds were comfortable and we had an incredible view of the mountain from our window, so beautiful in the morning and an affordable stay at that so we were incredibly grateful for that.
