"Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. The owner is very nice, speaks good English, picked us up from the station for free, and gave us wonderful recommendations around the area, also responsive to texts. They also upgraded our room to a 1 whole house to ourselves, very clean and fully furnished. If you want a quieter and relaxing area with a great view of Mt Fuji, this is the one!"

"The perfect base for experiencing Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — greeting us warmly and taking the time to walk us through everything: how to get around, the best spots to see Mt. Fuji, and local recommendations. Their hospitality was truly off the charts. The room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the train station, which made getting there completely hassle-free. Location-wise, you really can’t do better — it’s just a two-minute walk to the cherry blossoms and the lake. We woke up to a stunning view of Mt. Fuji in the morning, which alone made the stay unforgettable. After a long day of walking and biking around the area, the onsen was absolute heaven — the perfect way to unwind. If you’re visiting the Fuji Five Lakes area, this is the place to stay. The kindness and attentiveness of the hosts made it feel less like a hotel and more like staying with family."

"Overall a good choice to visit fuji. Great views and friendly helpful staff. The location is a bit remote and a car is advisable. 4th room was large enough for a family and views from room are good. Food is reasonably good but set menu style so works only if you are flexible on diet options. Hotel style is unique, a bit rustic and less modern but is ok and they have free wine every evening."
