"Good location for all amenities"
Full marks to the very welcoming Reception staff. Very obliging and accommodating. Concierge parking faultless. Breakfast was overcooked and rather disappointing but this was quickly dealt with, again by Reception, to which no charge was made. Would certainly use the G&V again.

"Don't judge a book by its cover! "
The best things about this apartment: its location; Although this apartment wasn't exactly on the Royal Mile, it was as good as (probably not such a bad thing during Edinburgh Festival time. The building looked pretty scary but it had a security door and a lift and none of that mattered once you were inside your own apartment.

"Perfect location"
Fraser Suites is the ideal location to access the Royal Mile. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel does not have parking which during the Fringe Festival proved very challenging. Train station is close however with a large car park. Breakfast is not included which is a minus. The room was very comfortable with a large modern bath. Very handsome hotel . Value for the price.

"Good solid city hotel slap bang in the city centre"
We arrived very early and, as we expected, no rooms were available. However, the staff were well prepared for that, took our luggage, checked us in, and told us to try again before the official booking in time. When we came back, our luggage was in the room. We had a comfortable room, a good night's sleep after returning late from the Tattoo, and a decent breakfast, nothing outstanding, but with eager and pleasant staff. No problems at chack-out.

"mixed bag"
Good location, friendly staff, food service ok. Terrible wifi connection system when it worked. Housekeeping inconsistent. Some towels missing one day, late in the day servicing another, evening turn down service showed up one day and not the others and toilette tank took ages in refilling after flushing. Hotel needs general tightening up on service consistency

"Best hotel welcome ever."
As soon as we arrived at this hotel we received a warm welcome from Paul at Reception. We were immediately upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. The room was amazing, modern and spotlessly clean. By chance we bumped into Paul later that afternoon when he had clocked off and he showed us to a great bar, Devil's Advocate, down Advocate's Close, just off the Mile. You would never have found it but the bar was amazing. Breakfast was lovely, a good selection of hot & cold food. We had an excellent nights sleep in the comfy bed. I will definetly return to this hotel again. The staff were all professional, yet friendly. This was my first trip to Scotland to see the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and I will certainly be returning. The town is lovely, so many places to see and things to do.
