We loved our stay at the Royal Scotsman. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The location is also great, walking distance to great pubs and eateries, and to Old Town (10 minute walk). We will definitely stay there again when returning to Edinburgh

Beautiful architecture in this magnificent Georgian building.Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished and overlooked the gardens. The breakfast was fabulous,so much choice and perfectly cooked.The staff were very polite and helpful too. I would definitely stay at this hotel again,astonished it is described as 3 star hotel,it is a 4 star in my opinion.

Definitely in a quieter area of Edinburgh. Only a couple of blocks from st Andrew’s square. Definitely still walking distance to Waverly station. Staff were helpful. Room was very warm at night they provide a fan which was helpful. Bar area and lounge nice to sit in the evening and have a beverage. Breakfast was good.

The property was so cool and had great history! The room was very clean and comfortable. The best towels ever and wonderful shower. The club has access to the private park across the street so that was a bonus to relax there after long days of walking!

We had a wonderful stay. We didn't expect a huge room, given that it was in Edinburgh, so we thought it was a great space considering. Was very clean and quiet. The front desk host was very helpful, and we appreciated being able to leave our bags on the day of checkout as we explored the city. It's hard to find a family space for 4, so this worked great. Great location, great place, wished we had stayed longer.
