"Everything in the room worked great - showers, air conditioning, wifi, refrigerator, etc.
Very close to the beach, with decent views except for the large concrete half-constructed building covered in graffiti next door.
The pool was tiny and filthy entirely unusable.
Overall, the room was very comfortable and served the purpose nicely - but don't count on any hotel amenities."

"Staff was very helpful. Location is excellent. Just steps away from restaurants, shops and the beach. Pool and seating areas were lovely and very quiet. Piñata the hotel dog was an added amenity."

Beautiful place at a decent price. I initially thought the hotel was in Guadalajara, but it is actually in Tlaquepaque, which was a pleasant surprise and a beautiful little city right beside Guadalajara. Nice shops and mariachi.

The room was sufficiently clean, though there was definitely opportunity for more attention to detail and a more thorough clean (needed better dusting, bugs were killed in the bathroom and never wiped down, some spots in the shower needed a bit more of a scrub, there was a dead decaying bird on our porch/balcony).
The staff, for the most part, was polite — we appreciated Luis and his efforts the most.
Sometimes responses on WhatsApp were slow, and we received no response through the Expedia...

I had a great stay here with my family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The latex mattress was incredibly comfortable and helped me get a really good rest after a long day of exploring.
The breakfast was also excellent. The only minor inconvenience was that there was only one power outlet in the room, which made it difficult to charge multiple phones at the same time.
Guanajuato is such a beautiful city, and we had a wonderful time here. I would definitely recommend this place!

We travelled to this resort early July from Alberta, Canada. The resort was quiet and clean, and the food was excellent. El Cid Marina was our first experience with El Cid resorts. We walked through the other El Cids in Mazatlan, but lived the quiet vibe from the Marina resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Suites Mine was exceptional. Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. What surprised us the most was how incredible the location was, easy to walk to major sites and parks, and lots of restaurants to choose from. The rooftop patio was a great place to relax in the hot tub after a long day of museums and galleries. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the El Moro. Our upgraded room was a really nice 1 bedroom condo with kitchen and separate bedroom and sundeck facing the gorgeous sunsets every night. Furniture was new and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area and garden were lovely and well kept.
Fresh drinkable water was available in the lobby 24/7 so you could fill up your thermos - big improvement over plastic bottles. Hopefully the garbage was separated out and recycled. Location was just off the malecon, so quiet...

The staff at the property were excellent. Alondra, Carlos and the rest of the staff gave exceptional service. Nice clean rooms. Good view, located across from a quieter beach. Breakfast was fantastic and the 2 restaurants across the hotel were both excellent with great views to sit on the beach with good food and good drinks to enjoy the sunsets. The rooftop pool was beautiful with great views of the bay as well Walkable to the melacon and easy to get from the airport. We will stay here again

The location is close to the beach, shopping, restaurant and 5th avenue. It has a jungle vibe and you get to see animals visiting your balcony that you have not seen before. The staff are very attentive and welcoming.
