We enjoyed the Pool Bar each day and was entertained by Ismael, our bartender. Great drinks, fabulous atmosphere. Our Butler, Alfaro, attended to our needs and was quick to make things happen. The only disappointment was the food. It was mainly pretty bland, with the exception being 9 Doors Restaurant which was very good."

"This an outstanding vacation made even more memorable by the above and beyond efforts of the every staff member we encountered. From front desk, to the waitstaff, to housekeeping, to the grounds crew - everyone greeted us with a smile and a hello. The food was great, the facilities were wonderful, and we will certainly be back - to DR or any of the other Excellence locations. "

"Everything stood out! Resort staff were amazing from the restaurants to the pool staff, to the agent from Expedia! The second time we went to the Spa, one of the ladies was rude, so we left. But i refuse to let her character change the rating for everyone else. I would def come back "

"The staff was very nice. The rooms were also very nice. Most of the food was very good. There were a lot of options of where to hang out. They did a great job of cleaning the beach every morning. We stayed in a swim out room facing the pool and it was great. Only real complaint is the pools are not heated and were quite cold."
