I have so much to say but I guess I payed for what I got. Room was super small, the staff was horrible , not very friendly and welcoming, they didn’t even had beach towel available and the water smell like poop it cause me to have a rash. Overall the beach was good and the food is the only thing I could say

I stayed there with my husband and mi 7 years old boy. The room is clean and a good looking and a lot of space with a living room, sofa and chair and a balcony, the only problem is the rooms are big for the air conditioning they have , it only cool the area of one of the two beds and when you sit down in the living room you won’t feel it either. Staff very nice and respectful, and the only thing I will say about the food is the variety, food taste good but they needs more variety. Other than that the stay was great, beach and pools are great.

Absolutely amazing experience! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming from start to finish. A special shoutout to the receptionists, Benjamin and Yohani—they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. I visited with my son, who loves the water, and this place was perfect for him! He was able to enjoy the beach freely while I felt completely at ease, not having to worry about strong waves. The water was crystal clear and very clean, which made it even more enjoyable. And the food—so many delicious options to choose from! Everything about our visit was wonderful. We truly had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to come back!

Like---- The Staff ,the Bar tenders and good attitude over all. Very helpful staff which go out of their way to accommodate. The property has very good security and Police presence is seen even a late night, Providing a Secure feeling. The activities are good I enjoyed it. Did Not Like---My toilet was Backed up and it took several calls to get someone to come and unclog the toilet. My TV was mostly Frozen and was not usable. The food was fine however the desert was mostly looks good but had no real flavor.

Property was well kept, clean toiletries were available. Staff very professional and helpful. Short walk from beach to snack bar, and laboratory. Beer was very cold. Bartenders were personalabe. Rooms can be updated but very clean, AC worked well, water power was on point. Beach was clean as well as the pool. I felt safe. Food was hot, a variable of choices. Love the theme buffets. I will visit again.

This hotel is very ok . The staff has good customer service. However, there’s no elevator at this hotel & I was on the last floor at the sea view. The food was not that good, they need better cheff to cater to diverse cultures& I was very displeased with the food I went on the street to get food which was sad because it was an all inclusive hotel . The entertainment was ok because they had the children involved.

This place is fantastic it's convenient to get to from the airport we were lucky and they were able to give us an early check-in to our room. Emmaneul and his team at the front desk were very accommodating. The bars, the food selection at the buffets were plenty and delicious. The property is walkamave there are two pools. The little gift shop has everything you could need on a whim. Very convenient. Also going outside for a little walk to check out the town. They have reataunce, salons, gift shops that might be a little cheaper than the one on site. The housekeep girls are great also. 10/10 recommend.

This was a nice economical resort. A lot of local people but very enjoyable people.. Nothing like punta cana for those who enjoy that type of atmosphere.. The food was ok.. The snack area was great.. Had one issue my room, the AC was not working.. Had to spend the night in a very humid room. Spent the whole next day trying to get a new room. Only bad experience. Outside of that I enjoyed the beach and pool areas. Bars were great.. Bar staff and maids were great..

The hotel rooms, need update bed, mattress too old, the dinner buffet, not too good. They have an Asian option for dinner, not good at all. The beach staff great people always helpful. The restaurant waitresses always willing to help, the lunch buffet good. The reception employees, very rude. So the hotel has good and bad things, if i come back, I will definitely will try to check in early cause I have to wait 3 hours to get my room.....I can only give 3 stars...

Main pool out of order. On first day was told in an hour it would be up and running. Day 3 came by and still no pool. They were constantly out of things. Took 2 days to get beach towels. Unfortunately this was always our safe haven and most anticipated trip my family looked forward to vacationing all year. This time around I think we made a mistake booking our trip during the month of August. Not only were the room double booked for the guests we had to be accommodated for our first night and wait till the next available room in the morning. The property seemed over booked and over crowded. Not at all what we were used to on our other 8 times that we have visited. Thankfully we met an extremely pleasant staff member that made it all better by the name of Ana. She was there reason we decided to stay and not cancel. Thanks to her and abundant hospitality we will choose Whala for our next visit because regardless of the terrible situation we still live this place. I have to NEVER EXPERIENCE this again. Please do not take this as a complain but rather to better your hospitality that we look forward all year long. For most of who love DR and your resort we would love it see it as we once did. As a place we fell in love with.
