"Great hotel, large room, nice bathroom but no closet, although we only stayed 1 night. Staff were nice. The area was a little rundown and felt unsafe. "

Only thing I didn’t like was that you had to walk along distance in order to get to the front gate where the stairs were to get to the different floors of the hotel. There wasn’t other entrances to the other parts of the hotel. So that was annoying. Besides that very nice place."

"The bathroom in the room need renovation since it not functional and extremely old. Also don't expect hot water for your shower between 10AM and 4pm since they shut it down during that time. It also a little bit noisy due that you are on the corner two major roads. So overall if I had to go back to La Fortuna I would choose another hotel."

"I go back to this place everytime I go through San Jose. Its the very best! Can walk easily anywhere for dining, food, shopping, arts, museums, parks etc! Love La Gauria Inn and Suites!!!"
