    It's worth staying here just for the views from the restaurant at the top! It's amazing to watch the sunset with a beer and a million-dollar view. The whole resort is built on the side of a hill so you're either walking up or down to get anywhere but there are little shuttles every 10 minutes if you're feeling lazy. The villa itself is fine, nice and clean, and even though everything is very dated (from the 80s) I think that's part of the charm of Condovac - it's like stepping back in time. Every Tico you talk to has stayed here at some point, and they get all misty-eyed reminiscing about their childhood holidays. They have lovely hammocks down at the beach and around the pool area, and there are free kayaks and bikes to borrow. The breakfast was standard resort stuff. Overall we really enjoyed our 3 days here (although we hardly used the pool area - it's usually overrun with kids and big family groups, so we spent more time at the beach). …
