"The place was very old, but budget friendly. You can hear everything that you neighbors are up to. There is a shared kitchen next to the office/reception - you can use them between 8 am to 9 pm. Very close to city center and walking distance to restaurants and groceries. Parking is also very easy. "

"What a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot springs (which stay open until about 3am), the views of the Arenal Volcano, the room amenities, the tasty (& varied breakfasts), the helpful staff, the views from our porch.... I could go on! Staf were helpful organising tours and we really liked how there was a coffee & tea station in reception as well as in the rooms. We also enjoyed our dinner at the on-site restaurant Surá. Highly recommended"

"Our room was at the top of the hill which was a great view, but no soundproofing. It was loud. The towels and the shampoo/body wash were subpar. We had a car so did not have to rely on the shuttle but a shuttle is provided. We did the night walk which was fun but way too long. An hour would have been plenty. "
