You'll get traffic noise all night from the main strip, which is 10 feet in front of the balcony. Also bring a washcloth. They don't have any. I have no idea how people in foreign countries clean themselves, but at Aqua Safari they don't even know what a washcloth is. We booked this hotel to mainly go diving off the island! When we arrived we accepted a beach front room for a small price increase and WOW it was worth it! The hotel is older, simple and right on the main street for easy access to shops and restaurants! I think the best part was the amazing staff and diving! Simply put, the place is a dump, in a good location. Only the exterior of the building has been updated. Incredibly noisy old AC wall unit, poor lighting and an ancient bathroom. The bed was clean, but not very comfortable. In just about any other Mexican location a fair price for the room would be about $25.00\.
