"They are still recovering from the devastating hurricane. There are still a few things to do. This doesn’t take away from your overall experience. The staff works hard to make it a great place and experience for you. They are friendly and always ready to help. Pool is great. The hotel is always clean room and all."

"this was our 4th time to Swept Away. Perfect as always. the food, employees, beach, drinks, rooms; all of it is just perfect. The only thing i can complain about is the shower soap. it's awful. doesn't lather at all, leaves you feeling sticky & has a weird scent. Swept Away-do better for the girls.. everything else is magical. Make sure you upgrade to the beach veranda rooms, you won't regret it."

"Service at restaurant wasn't great, first day we waites over 2.5 hours fornour dinner. Mext day at the grill, i was ignoresnfor over 15 min, then took over an hour to get our lunch. Appeared that service was only for people they knew as survice improved as staff gotbto know us. Two months before the trip, I had to cancel one night do to flight changes. Still waiting for my refund, despite many calls to both hotel and expedia. Its been 2 months. "

"This beach is not the actual beach but in a bay. Still a good experience but you do have to walk about 1/4 a mile to get the beach experience you desire."
