House was big,clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There is a laundry but it is downstairs - there is a suite downstairs as well. A sign on the door that is laundry would be helpful.

Clean Spacious House but some shortcomings
Pro: safe neighbourhood, clean spacious house, efficient communication with host. Con: no oven mitts, no collander, no dish cloths (except for a single 10"x10" cloth), no kettle, no liquid dish soap, 5 narrow pieces of paper towel left on the roll, no face cloths, low-quality plastic cooking tools, no bathroom garbage containers, no night stand lamps, unmarked kitchen garbage cupboard, unmarked fire extinguisher cupboard, hazardous unsecured floor vents.

The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and is perfect for adults to live comfortably while on vacation. Good basic amenities. Excellent communication with property managers.

Nice Neighbourhood, some fixes are needed
Just stayed at this residence for 3 days. The neighbourhood is safe, there were deer in the area. However there are couple of things that could be fixed by owner. In the description of the property there is no mention that the residence does not have air conditioning. You would think even a window air conditioner would be useful in July in Calgary. There is no mention that there is a basement unit that may be rented out at the same time. I spoke with the basement renters and they were surprised that someone was renting the top floor. The owners of the property knew ahead of time how many people would be staying in the unit (3) yet there was only one hand towel and one bath towel for 3 people. The floor grates were not secured to the ground and moved if accidentally kicked ( a little bit of a safety hazard). I have been renting via VRBO for years and this was a little below standard. I have read the other reviews here and the last review in May had same issues that could have been rectified but were not.

Cozy like home
We had a lovely stay at the Blue Villa that was even extended by a couple of weeks while we waited for our own home to be renovated. Our request was accepted promptly and we are thankful we could do so. Couldn't have asked for more! Thank you!

Location and Space was Great.
We booked this property for proximity to family in Calgary. The property was easy to come and go from and on a quiet square. Provisions for the property were sparse. No mugs, one dishwasher detergent puck, no face cloths, no broom or vacuum cleaner, no extra blankets, one stained tea towel, and limited chairs in living/dining area for 6 people the property can host. The walkway from the sidewalk to the stairs is loose and sunken at the entrance stair/porch. Cosmetically, the finishings are rough. The caulking is poor visually. The towel holder in a bathroom is falling off the door striker plates were in the wrong place or missing. The thermostat was locked and set by the landlords. The furnace ran continually and in the back of the house rattled. For the price we were not expecting a 5 star property. The space was nice as we were able to have family come and go. Economical price, location and space was provide by this property.
