"Hotel Burbank was convenient to different restaurants and shops. The hotel was nice and seemed clean. The bar and cafe were cute and convenient as well. The only complaint I have is that the front desk staff are not friendly. For people who work in customer service, I always felt that I was interrupting them by asking questions or just checking in. The staff everywhere else are very friendly. "

"This property was a very convenient walk to the Hollywood strip! The surrounding area is not the cleanest but once inside the hotel it was very clean. We felt safe with the front door only accessible by key card. The parking was cheap and the parking lot did not get full so it was easy to find a space. The only downside was the bed, any little movement it would make a metal creaking sound so that was not ideal. We only stayed for one night but we would stay again for a short trip. "

"The Thompson is an interesting hotel. Parts of it merit a 4-star rating (the excellent service and rooftop breakfast spot and pool) while others fall more into the 2-3 star range. Not a great neighborhood especially for families and I also encountered some interesting "characters" (use your imagination) in the lobby and by the club next door, and I feel like the lobby could use a facelift. The lobby bar isn't always attended (i waited 5 minutes to order a drink at 6:30PM and no one showed up)...
