I chose this hotel for its pool and proximity to downtown. Needed a reprieve from the August sun and a close stay to all the things we were doing in Atlanta. The hotel was fantastic with pool area, amenities and location for sure. Valet parking is $65 a night. Liability cost a night is $200. $200!! That’s a lot, especially for a long stay. There is “self parking” across the street. For some reason I was told it’s $9 a day but works out to be $50 a night. Much more worth over the hotel valet. Valet will make you feel like the self parking option is worrisome but it’s not. This hotel is in the center of venues, essentially meaning if there’s a lot of other events going on around this hotel, it is miserable to get an uber to get outside of this hotel. If you’re not planning to do much outside of walking distance, you’re good. If you’re eating downtown or going to a braves game, call an uber at least an hr earlier. The restaurant here is fantastic. I don’t need to stay here again for reasons I listed (i.e., too much venue traffic, high costs for a “high liability” area)

"Breakfast was ok. I thought the coffee area was a little dirty; the reception and common area smelled like cigarettes, and the bed sheets smelled like someone else's perfume. I wouldn't stay again for the price I paid."

"The building is old and needs a little love. The faucet handle was wobbly, the bathtub enamel is chipped, and the knob to adjust temperature on the AC was broken. The minifridge had not been cleaned out from the last customer. The hair dryer and the cable didn’t work. Staff started vacuuming at 8:00am ..."
