It was very well equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen, and it was even decorated with a Christmas tree, which made it feel extra special. The weather outside was cold, but the cabin stayed nice and warm and was incredibly cozy.While we didn’t take advantage of the boat, we did enjoy using the kayaks, and my son was able to catch a few nice-sized bass right from the dock. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit every night. There are plenty of nearby hiking trails to enjoy. The host was very kind and responded within minutes whenever we had a question.There was plenty of room for our group of five, and we truly appreciated being able to bring our dog along. The cabin has a cozy, rustic chic feel that’s perfect for a mountain lake getaway. I will say, coming from Southwest Florida, I underestimated the elevation. If you’re afraid of heights, it may take a bit to get used to, and as others have mentioned, the road in is narrow.Overall, I would definitely recommend this cabin.
