We explored the area a little and got into town for lunch one day but especially enjoyed relaxing on the dock and enjoying the peace and quiet. We brought our 2 dogs and so appreciated the welcome they received including a dog bed! Everything was very organized about our stay and the cabin with the fire pit, lake view, fabulous hot tub and great location, we'd love to come back. ##### Helen G. We had a wonderful stay at Morningstar on the Lake! The location in Cherry Log is our favorite of any location, and the cabin was perfect - cozy, warm, and very romantic! The hot tub was a highlight - a few of the jets weren't working, but overall it was a great way to both start and end the day. The weather was great with highs in the 60's and cooler mornings! We enjoyed the area State Parks and just driving around!
