10/10 Excellent

"We had a good stay!"

Creekside retreat minutes to Blue Ridge

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this property. There are so many fun things to see/do in the area but it's hard to make yourself leave the serenity of the property. The cabin was lovely; just rustic enough to know you're in a cabin but with all the modern conveniences. It was super clean, tastefully appointed and well-stocked with everything we needed and then some! Linens were plentiful and very good quality as were the pots, pans, etc. The owner was wonderful to communicate with and very responsive and attentive to our needs. He even had a load of well-seasoned oak delivered shortly after we arrived so we were able to enjoy a number of relaxing fires in the fireplace. The creek was nothing short of AMAZING. It is so close to the back porch that we had a terrific view and wonderful sounds from our comfortable rocking chairs. We are from Florida and set out for a respite from our busy lives by seeing some gorgeous countryside and find some peace and tranquility by a "babbling brook/creek"...Mission accomplished. If that describes you don't miss this gem!!"

Adult Kink Theme~BDSM-Velvet Chains Retreat-Private

8/10 Good

"Communication was great! Whenever we had a question he got back to us almost immediately. It was very clean! Some minor things came up, but he handled them wonderfully. It was definitely on the pricier side, and we felt like it could've been cheaper given what was provided, but overall it was a good experience!"

Off the Hook - Riverfront, hot tub, fire pit, pets

8/10 Good

"The house was beautiful. It was renovated and modern. Plenty of parking. It was great to have a fire pit outside but when it rained, we had a covered fireplace which was nice. The view was beautiful and the river water was shallow enough for our littles to enjoy. The river water wasn’t high enough to actually fish, but the kids enjoyed it regardless. The kitchen was fully stocked, but there was issues with gnats in the kitchen. The outside grill was in great condition to grill and the kids really enjoyed the ping-pong table downstairs. The only downfall was the living. space wasn’t as cozy as we hoped and the TV was a bit too small and the AC didn’t get as cold as we hoped. The house was clean and decorated beautifully and the hot tub was a nice feature."

Blue Ridge Riverfront Cabin•2-Level Deck•Sleeps 8

10/10 Excellent

"Nice place and easy to get to. The Queen size bunk beds are great, as is the deck off the bunk bed room. Separate mini-splits in each bedroom and the main living space make it easy to accommodate different tastes in temperature. Kitchen has a drip coffee pot as well as a nice kureg machine. The gas grill looked brand new and worked flawlessly (first time for any VRBO I've stayed in). All appliances are new and the property looks like it was recently renovated.Pots, pans, and cooking knives could use a refresh, but to be fair that has been the case for every VRBO I've stayed in over the years. I always bring a knife sharpener and put a fresh edge on the two decent kitchen knives. Overall the kitchen is well equipped for the basics but plan accordingly.Overall very pleased and would stay again."

Blue Ridge Mountain Serenity at The Summit: Hot Tub, Tubing & Hiking Trails

10/10 Excellent

"Our host was wonderful and communicated all instructions needed to access the cabin. Cabin was great for an “8” girls getaway trip to the mountains and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Directions to the cabin were accurate but a little challenging for first time visitors and should be planned for daytime arrivals. We loved the 4KBR/4BATH for our group."
