Did not hear a single neighbor the entire time and was secluded from them by the tall trees! Enjoyed the hot tub, however they were a little excessive with their rules for that and a few other things in the house. Kitchen and dining room were a great space for the 5 of us, and plenty of room for all of us to hangout in the same space. Myself, my daughter, and her bridal party came up for a long weekend to celebrate her before she gets married in October. The cabin was very clean and comfortable with room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and other items you would need. There is a pool table, air hockey table, and plenty of games and things to do. The view is amazing and it is so peaceful. We took advantage of the hot tub in the evenings when the weather cooled off. It is only a short drive to Blue Ridge to go shopping and to ride the train. Make sure to bring any extra toilet paper and paper towels you think you will need while here. Other than that, we have no complaints and the cabin is beautiful and easy to get to from the main road. Our family of 9 (Husband & Sons, Sister-in-law and family and Mother-in-law) really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was well equipped and the views were incredible. Plenty of space for all of us and lots to do. Location was easy to find (even w/ GPS) close to town, but you felt like you were far away when at the cabin. We enjoyed the pool table & ping pong as well as checkers and of course the HOT TUB! Reservation and check-in were simple. KUDOs to the housekeeping staff, my MIL forgot her sandals, I called the same day we departed to let them know and we had them returned within a week (we paid for shipping of course) but we were glad to get them back! Had to use a cooler with ice. Had to call management more times than I would have expected. Also, the gas fireplace was way too challenging to turn on/off. Supposed to be able to use the switch on the wall, but it had to be done manually (with no instructions), which required a couple more phone calls to the management. The hot tub was large so that was a plus! The house is close to the town and several wineries. You can't beat the location of this place and the fact that it still had an amazing view! The porch was relaxing to sit and take in the views! The small thing I found annoying was the text from the rental company. We only spent two nights in the cabin so we essentially had one full day in Blue Ridge. I kept receiving texts during that day to "click the link for checkout". I understand one reminder, but I don't need multiple reminders when I'm trying to enjoy my day. (It's possible the multiple text was a glitch) Aside from that I would definitely stay at this property again. We had a wonderful time! ##### Megan T.
