"Who wouldn’t want to stay in a real houseboat in Amsterdam….seriously? We so enjoyed our stay there. Out your living room window were all kinds of ducks swimming by. Nature is all around you. "Lia and George's cottage is located directly on a canal, on a quiet street in a pretty village. It is conveniently located close to the bus line which will get you to Amsterdam's Noord Station within 10 minutes. Plus, it is an easy drive from here to Volendam, Edam, Zaanse Schans, Keukenhof and so much more. "Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. "
