"The front desk staff was very helpful. However, there is no lift in the property and if you are travelling with large bags then forget it. There should be a cage available to store big luggage on the ground level."

"Getting in and out of the rooms using the Goki app was pretty easy, staff at reception were really nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the kitchen smelled so bad it permeated throughout the entire area outside it. I stayed on the 4th floor so I can’t speak for the other floors, but there were food items still in the fridges left unmoved for days/weeks at a time (I stayed for 2 weeks) and it was clear it probably hasnt been thoroughly cleaned/checked in a while. "The best thing is the rooftop communal area. The bunks were pretty good, had curtains. Kitchen is well organised. Bunkroom is messy with bags all over the floor i stead of in lockers or on the bunks. Overall the best of the 4 hostels I have stayed at so far in Melbourne. "

"do not judge a book by its cover as is in this case. situated on the freeway behind a pub we did not expect much and was very pleasantly surprised by the newness and cleanliness of the room. the downside is slow/weak internet and the bed isn’t as comfy. for short stays near footscray & sunshine where we needed to be we were very satisfied. "Cheap nights stay. Room is very clean but depending on how the other guests are the bathroom can be pretty bad. Either they aren't cleaned enough or other guests don't have the courtesy to leave the communal spaces tidy."

"Liked friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness, free coffee tea and bread. Comfortable bed and communal areas. Only think to be improved is that I wasnt in receipt of the code to get in when I arrived. I didnt have a sim card so couldnt phone. I went away and emailed Frank to get it and then went back. Ideally an automatic email and text giving these details, before check out time would have been good. Overall this is my favourite accommodation place in Melbourne. "
