Did not get a free upgrade, although one was available. I asked but was told would have to pay. Took a long time to check In. Shower wash was empty in shower, I asked to be refilled for following day. Did not get refilled. Validated car park at reception ticket did not work on exit had to call for assistance, sat for 20 mins at boom gate.

I booked this room last minute and didn’t have any expectations. I was thrilled. The room was lovely (I didn’t have a view, but hadn’t booked a room with a view). The bed was very comfortable, The toiletries were gorgeous and it was nice to watch tv from the bed. The room wasn’t large but I didn’t need a large room. There was also a little table and 2 chairs which was perfect as I ordered room service - which I rarely do, but I was exhausted from walking around - and the food was EXCEPTIONAL. Absolute 5 star. I had the Arancini Balls and the Lavendar Panna Cotta. It really was absolutely amazing. The reception and downstairs bar were gorgeous - it is a really impressive hotel and definitely value for money. I would absolutely stay here again.

Although room was a bit small it was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Service was great and so convenient to walk to everything you want in the CBD or transport options.
