Rooms are spacious and super quiet. Beds are like clouds which made for a restful sleep. The only minor negative and I mean minor, was the poor shower water pressure and the constant juggling of the hot and cold to get a consistent temperature. But don’t let this turn you off. It’s a great hotel and the prefect location to the ‘Paris’ end of Melbourne. However, you could hear (loud) the tv on in a neighbouring room, the footsteps in the room above us and also conversations in the corridor of the hotel. We were on level one so you could hear everything outside too. I’m thankful that we were staying on a Monday night and not a weekend. The hotel is in an excellent location in the heat of the theatre district. It is surrounded by excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. The nearby parking was easy to access and there is plenty of on-street parking you can utilise to drop off your bags. The hotel staff were lovely and accomodating. The hotel also offers a complimentary drinks hour between 5-6pm in the hotel lobby. The location is great and we really enjoy the happy hour offered by the hotel.
