"They would not budge on the 2;00 check-in time. We arrived off of a cruise ship at 7:30am and were told nothing could be done until 2:00. There is nothing open in the are that early so we were forced to wander the area until 9:00 am when the castle opened. They did take care of our bags to their credit. "Staff was great and friendly, dealt with issues promptly (leaky shower), blessedly spoke English, we never felt unsafe in the neighborhood, plenty of nearby dining options for every palate, very walkable and close to the Metro Marques de Pombal stop, plenty of hot water. The room might be considered small by US standards but we didn't spend time in the room anyway. Would definitely recommend. "We weren’t expecting much from this as a one night cheap stay but the hotel was fantastic - kind and helpful staff, clean and spacious room, great breakfast. The little things impressed us a lot - like a case weighing scale in reception to save faffing at the airport, and screens at reception with flight times. Just nice thoughtful things that would be good to have in other places!"

"It is a great Hostel. It is located in Chiado, one of the best neighbors of Lisbon, close to 2 Metro Stations and Comboi Station. The hotel is clean and has a chicken where any guest can cook. Good breakfast is served every morning (it is included) qnd guys and girls who work there are very nice and friendly. I’d stay there again nect time I’ll to Lisbon"
