This property was such a pleasant surprise. It is totally unassuming but definitely hits the mark in all the important areas. It is conveniently located just steps away from a local grocery store which also happens to house an elevator up to the Castle Sao George for easier access. Magda was amazing and helped us navigate the city, provided us with additional water as needed and was very pleasant. The hotel was extremely clean, I could smell the cleanliness upon walking into the room. We had the most basic room and still felt it was spacious enough for 2 people. The shower especially was huge! We also received complementary natas and a bottle of wine. There are no negatives to speak of. It is centrally located even the train to Sintra is just 15 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon! THANK YOU.

We spent 8 nights at the Esquina Cosmopolitan while exploring Lisbon. The hotel is centrally located in the Baixa area, close to 2 metro stations and trolley stops. The river is just a few blocks away and there are many restaurants nearby. Our room was great, with a view of Sao Jorge castle. The elevator to the Alfama district, as well as a supermarket are just across the street. There is a laundromat in the same block. Our queen sized bed was very comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our one critique is that the lighting in the bathroom is too dim and there were no facial tissues supplied. We received a helpful email with directions for getting there by metro but we were glad we decided to take a taxi. It would have been a difficult trip with the cobblestones and the hills. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location. There are many dining choices nearby and many attractions as well. My room was a little small and didn’t have a chair so I had to sit on my bed

I had to book a stay last minute when my plans changed, and Esqina had an open room. Best decision to stay there! It was the best hotel in this price range that I stayed at during my whole trip to Portugal. Very nice and friendly staff, excellent amenities in the room, cute bar and terrace downstairs with food some evenings, overall just the best. I would love to go back.

As first timers in Lisbon we had the BEST experience here. I knew it was gonna be good after we booked because they immediately sent us an email asking what they could do to enhance our experience. My boyfriend arranged a beautiful birthday surprise with the staff. Truly, the friendliest people, after long days of walking, it was so nice coming back to the smiley faces. The hotel was so clean perfect location to walk everywhere you need to go in Lisbon and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be back to stay here again!

There was only one person checking in a long line of guests. She was chatting and laughing and taking significant time in unnecessary chitchat without regard for those waiting on line. Do not opt in for breakfast at added fee. Breakfast was awful with no variety to choose from and what was there looked stale and completely unappealing. You can grab fresh croissants or other pastries nearby at Rossini square. When I shared feedback and asked to cancel breakfast for next day, staff was not helpful and refused. I would not come back to this hotel when I come back to Portugal.

Absolutely lovely hotel. It was cute and quiet yet still in the center of Lisbon where you can walk to everything. The staff were all so nice and the customer service was great. Best botique hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

This hotel is so lovely! The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The room was even bigger than I’d hoped and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. It is at the top of a hill, but there is a free public elevator that will take you to the top of it. Just ask one of the staff for the name of it! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

The team at this hotel is so friendly and helpful. It’s also in the central downtown area of Lisbon, in walking distance to Alfama, Chiado and Barrio Alto. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Good hotel. Excellent for a short stay in Lisbon. Bed very comfortable. Room good size. Furniture is a little quirky ( minimalist / arty). It’s not bad, but it is a specific style which may not suit all. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had some trouble with internet reception, the staff were kind and addressed it, but does seem that internet may be finicky ( may depend on room location). Kettle for coffee and tea was good. Buffet breakfast was nice (can ask for omelette, which was good) but was a little limited. Very close to metro and town / sights so great location.
