“Very pleasant and relaxing. Hope to return soon.”
Most of the rooms have a magnificient view of Zurich. The menu of the Hotel's restaurant has a delicious menu. The staff is very friendly and always tries to be helpful. The sauna and the swimming pool are a really relaxing experience, especially after a day of hard work. A place I will definitely book again!

Amazing view over Zurich as it is located on the Züriberg. Excellent cuisine in the restaurant. Hope to have another stay there!

If you are planning to stay in Zurich but you also wish a great view, a fantastic pool and spa and good food, all just few moment from the city centre, well, this is the place!
“Dolder Waldhaus is a great hotel”
The hotel service was outstanding. Breakfast and room service were great. My only small quibble is the rooms don't have a thermostat, and even though we were there in the second half of December, the rooms were way too warm. The hotel is located on a hill and one can either walk down the hill to catch a tram or take the Dolder Bahn, a cog wheel tram, down the hill. You can buy passes for the Zurich trams (including the Dolder Bahn) so the overall cost is modest. By the way, the view of Zurich, including its lake, from the hotel is really great.
“Original and quirky yet extremely comfortable”
Arrived here not knowing what to expect. The building resembles a block of retirement apartments from the outside, but the inside was a different story. The room was clean and modern, with a balcony offering a stunning view of the city of Zurich and the lake. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and went out of their way to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. There is also a tram station (the Dolderbahn) adjoining the hotel allowing quick (and cheap) access to central Zurich.
“Very nice hotel with Amazing views of Zurich Lake”
This was a very clean, pleasent hotel. For me the bonus was the nice Swiming Pool and the Sauna. Really enjoyed and if ever back in Zurich this would be my choice. Very quite location up in the hills and only 10 min walk to city centre. Extremly helpful staff with a nice Restaurant.

“A bit out of the city, but worth the view”
Gorgeous area, gorgeous and spacious room, breathtaking view of the city and Lake Zurich, wonderful price. I would absolutely stay here again.
“Excellent, well located, generous rooms with balcony and view”
High on a hill over looking the city, this had the feeling of being away from the bustle yet it was easy to reach downtown on the convenient public transportaion. Immaculate, stylish, excellent food and service.
“Highly recommended”
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Staff were great and the room was lovely with a beautiful view (make sure you get one at the back of the hotel). One minus was the "gourmet" burger. Not homemade as I expected of something claiming to be gourmet. Aside from that - great.
