“Bel accueil”

Malgré des chambres simples et un peu désuètes, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour (2 nuits). L'accueil et le service sont hors pair. Apéro de 16h à 18h, digestifs et glaçons, déjeuner continental incluant pain doré, gaufre. crêpe, oeuf dur en plus des fruits,bagels, céréales et autres. La maison plus que bi-centenaire comporte de grandes galeries accessibles aux clients et inspire la tranquillité.

“A great place to stay”

The Isaac Merrill House was a great experience for myself & my husband. We've visited the White Mts many times but this inn was definitely the most friendly & hospitable of all we stayed in. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. The free breakfast was unbelievably good, as was the atmosphere. The hosts were extremely friendly and accomodating. We would stay here again anytime.

“Friendly family inn”

This inn is quite charming. The style is old-fashioned with much love for details. Breakfast is buffet and additional choices. Rooms were small but clean. Bathroom door could not be locked.

“Nice getaway”

The owner was very hands on. There was a nice set up of cheese and crackers and wine before dinner and an array of cordial liquors laid out after dinner. The floors were crooked and the bath room small but it added to the feel of a quaint New England Inn.The rooms were furnished with ceiling fans, tv but no bath essentials ex shampoo so bring everything you need. It is a little off the beaten path, so call ahead for directions. Well worth the drive

The staff was very friendly and the dining room was charming, the breakfast was excellent. The room we were given did not look like the one on line that I thought I booked. The bed was old and not the most comfortable, the TV was old and didn't work well. A few improvements and it could be a really nice place. It was very quiet.

“Not very clean”

Has character, including its crooked floors, and nice hot breakfast. Very disappointed with the cleanliness as there was hair in the washroom and lots of dust indicating that cleaning priority is rather low.

“Nice place for the price but needs updates”

It is a really old house that has that North Conway charm but could use some updating. Breakfast was good but would be nice to have something different, it was the same options each day. There is only one full time employee (Daniel the Inn Keeper) nice guy, knows the area and can recommend ways to avoid the busy Rt302. They have a part time gir who helps out with cleaning but for the size of the place I think it's a bit much for just 2 people to handle. The owner really needs to invest in this property and put newer AC's in, also get the plumbing checked, our sink would fill up and take 5-10min to drain. Overall we only were there 2 nights and needed a place to sleep, we were out all day on Sat. hiking Mt. washington, then went tot he Moat Mtn Brewery for dinner, excellant BBQ! Stay if you are on a budget, if you have more $$ to spend stay somewhere nicer.
