"We had a very comfortable overnight stay and enjoyed going out to the park across the street to check out the laughing men art installation. Overall we were impressed with the walkability of Vancouver as a whole, and would like to come back and stay a few days using the Sylvia as base. (Check out the story of Mr. Got to Go, the hotel’s mascot cat.)"
"The staff was excellent. The lights in the bathroom and kitchenette didnt work so i had to move around lamps from the living room to get lights in these areas"

"Some areas in the suite need attention carpets coming away from join in kitchen area. Disappointed our room wasn't ready when we booked in at about 3pm. Also the hotel restaurant wasn't open as shown in the hotel information."
"Location was great. The facility itself is very old and neglected. Bathrooms were very old and some showers didn’t work. The beds were uncomfortable. The room was too warm and AC didn’t work and also was at least 30 years old.0"
