"nice hotel"
This hotel is in a great spot being beside the Columbia skytrain station. A store, food, a few stores across the street. And the river.

Fixtures in bathroom were old and worn out, however staff were very attentive and quick to ensure your stay was pleasant.

"Room was not ready had to wait 11/2 hr."
When I arrived at the wrong best western they could not of course find my reservation. When they called the chelsie location they claimed I was not booked in there either but when I gave my confirmation number it showed I was. I found the gentleman at the North road location who was supposed to be helping me very unpleasant and very bothered to assist. My husband was the person that made the reservation for me and misunderstood that I ( being I grew up in the area) wanted to stay at the n. Rd location which was what led me there first. Even after giving him the confirmation number and figuring out what happened he was short with me. When I arrived at the chelsie location the girl there was pleasant but we were told our room was not ready and it would be about 1/2 hour so I left and came back to find out it was still not ready and I sat there for another hour. I was also given a taxi voucher for the event I was going to which I had them arrange for the taxi pick up, only to find out that the cab company knew nothing about and would not accept. Which on the way home was the same story. I complained at the front desk and was told by them that I probably used the wrong taxi company! To which I replied that I was not the one who called the taxi they did. Then a guy came out from the back room and said oh that was probably my fault he thought that it didn't matter which company he called but to his defence I was not told it was a deal only through one taxi company either.

"You get what you pay for. "
Staff was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The location to downtown is very accessible. As for the Beds were comfortable and big. The bathroom was where I had my issues. It was clear that house keeping didn't really do a thorough job in cleaning up after precious guests. Hairs throughout the shower, used towels on the hook and bugs. Ugh...bugs. They were like gnats or something all in the shower that made standing in that enclosed space miserable. Our vacation was short so we were sure to spend the majority of our time exploring the area. If you're just looking for a place to crash, this hotel is suitable enough.

"Location is OK, 15 minutes drive to Richmond."
A good alternative to hotels in Richmond. Only bad thing is terrible smell of manure due to surrounding farms. Getting out to highway 1 back to Alberta is convenient and a lot faster than taking off from Richmond or Vancouver city.

Best Western Plus Kings Inn & Conference Centre

"Good value Hotel in Burnaby"
This is actually a motel more suitable for those who drive. It is not that near to sky train station. Fortunately, there is a bus in front of the hotel which will bring you to Metrotown, where the bus terminus and sky train station is. From there, you can take bus or skytrain to any part of Vancouver/Richmond.

Even though the area is built up the hotel room was very quiet. The hotel staff, especially the catering staff, were very friendly and helpful.

"Easily accessible to the downtown and UBC"
A very good place for accommodation, as you can take bus of no. 19, and along the route to the different places for dining in Vietnamese, Chinese and Western cuisines. One point should be noted that the breakfast is so healthy that only breads, apples, oak and cakes are available. However, you can walk to MacDonald to buy foods with meat for makeup if you wish.

"In the heart of Gastown "
Lovely place to stay in the heart of Gastown. Fun mix of everything that Vancouver has to offer. Super friendly and helpful staff. This hotel raises money for aboriginal low cost housing and has built a women's shelter with their profits. I like knowing my stayI can contribute to this. I will definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to friends!
