“skytrain excursion”

hotel was in a great location to and from airport, excellent for quick overnight stay and shuttle to airport. also convenient to skytrain and easy to get downtown. shuttle driver and hotel staff were excellent

“Good value”

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful. I used the exercise room and it was fine, if a little small. It's perfect for proximity to the airport, and not too far from the city centre either. It seemed good value and we will definitely go back there.

“An Airport Hotel for People who Don't like Airport Hotels”

I stayed here for one night before my flight out (mostly to avoid driving up from Seattle in early morning traffic) and it's a lovely little inn/hotel. I was initially a bit put-off by the mock Tudor styling thinking it'd be gimmicky and tacky, but it appears to be genuine and adds to the charm - dark wooden panelling in hallways, sumptuously furnished lobby and restaurant. The room, although not huge, was very nice - nicely finished bathroom, and an incredibly comfortable bed with a nice down duvet. Breakfast is included in the restaurant (either a continental or you can use the voucher for a hot meal). It avoids the "mega-hotel" and ultra-sterile feel of most airport hotels. If you weren't 10 minutes from YVR, you wouldn't think it was an airport hotel.

“what a steal!!”

Staff was ULTRA friendly and extremely attentive. Room was very comfortable and hallways very clean. Cleaning staff was very respectful to the guests privacy and very polite. You get free breakfast with your stay. The coupon they give you is good for a Continental Breakfast OR $6.99 off any breakfast item on the menu, which ranged from $8 - $11. We had a full breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs; bacon, sausage or ham; breakfast potatoes and toast. So, with the coupon, you only pay $1!!!!!!! Walking distance to Casino with free shuttle after 4pm. Free shuttle to and from Airport. A great place!! We will be going back real soon.

“Quiet place with good service”

Abercorn is an older hotel but nicely redone and very reasonable for the area. I needed a shuttle for the airport which they advertise as a complimentary service. The shuttle did not show at the appointed time, 4:30am, so they provided a cab at their expense to get me there. Now that is service!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Resturant offered very good value food. Hotel a little remote but very close to the airport and local bus service very handy for Richmond city centre.

“perfect for our trip”

great hotel if you want to stay close to the airport. Within walking distance of Costco, Tim Hortons and several resturants (no more than 10min). Friendly staff and the room was very clean.
