“We won't go back”

We stayed this hotel for two nights. In the second night our next door had a party from about 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The music was so loud and they talked too loud. My wife and my kids tired and they slept well but I couldn't go to sleep. The continental breakfast is bad. No milk and toast.

“Definitely BETTER than what I expected !”

I would definitely come back to this hotel. I have a Queen Non smoking room and when I came into it, it was so nice, I immediately called and booked more nites! I had trouble logging into the internet and one of the staff immediately came down and set it up for me. Very friendly and professional staff. Haven't tried the Breakfast yet, but the price I got online far exceeded anything I expected. I would definitely recommend!!!

“Easy Access Inn”

Great service at the front desk. Cheap, clean and a nice little room. Cable and a fridge with super-freezing powers. What more could you ask for? Maybe a jacuzzi. But that's about it.

“Beach Exploration Headquarters!”

This was the perfect hotel for exploring local beaches--Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Torrey Pines State Beach! The room was up-to-date and clean. Our queen bed was comfortable. We appreciated the microwave and fridge. Lots of cable channels, and the wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was sparse--danishes, fruit, coffee, juice. No boiled eggs, cereal, milk, or waffles.

Area recommendations

Oceanside Harbor Village is an easy 10-15 minute drive. It's quaint and has a good Italian restaurant and a great little ice cream shop.

“Average hotel”

Average hotel, yet priced high for this quality of hotel. I'm sure the location of it has everything to do with it. It's just a few minutes from Lego Land.

“unacceptable customer service”

Unacceptable service for a choice hotel. Returned from legoland beds not made and room window open. management had no excuse and didnt care about my complaint. And maid took towels out of room. Didnt replace towels until i demanded new towels. also read albert R april 4th review.. same problem..

“Nice hotel, low price”

Yes, it is right next to the freeway. And yes, the freeway noise can be heard from the room if you listen to it. Still, the location is very convenient and a short drive to Tamarack Beach/Carlsbad downtown. If you need a short stay in the area and are planning to spend little time in the room and can bear up very slight background freeway noise while sleeping, this hotel is a very nice option considering price vs. convenience/comfort/cleanliness trade-off for the area hotels.

“No frills, but nice place”

It's a simple easy place to stay. check in was at 3 and other than a half hour waiting to get my room cleaned after arriving at 3 the place was fine. overall was a nice, clean place for a quick weekend trip thank you
