Pros: Friendly Staff & quiet guests
Location: Up on a hill, and a bit hard to find.
Great bed; nice towels; scarce parking & noisy heat/air. Expedia provided a great rate, and check-in was a breeze.

Pros: Close to Ross Park Mall and a shopping center, do not need a long drive to shopping and dining.
Cons: Shower tube seemed a little old.
Location: Shopping and dining.
Check in was very quick since I reserved, check out was quick too.

Clean hotel, great room at great price, comfortable beds! No farther than 15 to 20 minutes from heart of Pittsburgh. I would absolutely stay again!

Pros: I thought the front desk was professional dealing with customers.
Cons: I believe the hotel needs to be updated and the rooms could be a little bit cleaner.
Location: I enjoyed the location of the hotel it was conveniently located near stores, restaurants and the to drive downtown was okay.
I thought the location of the hotel had a lot to offer.

Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants near by
Front desk staff gets an A+. Very helpful. Housekeeping gets a D-. They didn't even clean our room the first day. The second day they came in, but only left clean towels and made the bed... left no cups, coffee, etc. Didn't take the trash. Location is good and other than a poor housekeeping staff, it was a great stay.

The hotel was clean and convenient. The only complaint was it was almost impossible to find. There were no signs from the street level, and even after we knew where it was it was still difficult to find.

Location: PNC Park awesome venue to catch a baseball game. Big Jim's in "The Run" (restaurant/bar) - featured on Triple D. Great Italian - Huge portions.
My wife and I needed a get-away. We decided to take a long weekend to visit Pittsburgh and chose this hotel mainly based on price and the reviews. We were unsure what to expect. Upon check-in we were pleasantly surprised at how nice a hotel this ended up being. Although it seemed a little older the facility was up-to-date and extremely clean. Staff was outstanding. Most of what we wanted to do was downtown. (Casino, Baseball game at PNC Park, and dining.) This was a very convenient location. We definitely will be back the next time we come to town.

Location: the shopping center had a wonderful mix of retail establishments.
The front desk was always professional. Based on the room and weekend that I stayed, I am most unhappy. Housekeeping was less than and the lack of ventilation in the bathroom created an unhealthy condition. Our bed linens were nothing like those referenced in one of the PR pieces. This was the first time ever that I left no tip for housekeeping. The service was so bad that a tip would have left the wrong message and therefore validated poor service. We could have made an informed decision had it been clearly advertised that dogs were allowed. I counted 7 and heard one bark almost incessantly. At check out, I was only charged for one night with many apologies. I did contact the hotel prior to this post.
