Hotel centrally located to all places in PittsburgPosted 15-Apr-2014
Pros: It was clean and affordable.
Location: It was very central to shopping, my family, eating places, theater, and sporting events.
Just need a bed to sleep in. Actually did not use any of the facilities. But was a pleasant place to spend a night.

Very Annoyed!!Posted 7-Apr-2014
Cons: The hotel needs to be thoroughly cleaned, and more organized. What happened to me is inappropriate on all levels!
Location: I went to see. Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game :)
Let me start by saying, that I am not difficult to please. I looked for a pretty average good rating, when I was planning my recent trip to Pittsburgh. This hotel had a 3.5 out of 5 rating, reviews said that it was clean and that it included a breakfast. It was a fair price so I booked it. After my long drive from Jersey to Pittsburgh, I was ready to get to my room and relax. The girl at the desk seemed pleasant enough and checked us in. We got to our room opened the door and found that there were people already in our room in bed!!!!! I could not get out of the room fast enough! When we got back on the elevator I started to take in my surroundings. The elevator was dirty with drinks spilled and god knows what else all over. The carpets all over the hotel were gross and not vacuumed. There were dogs all over the lobby barking, and so were the guests. I quickly went back to the front desk and explained that people were on that room and she disagreed with me! She told me that no one is checked in to that room and that she didn't know how anyone got in there and maybe they broke in. (Ok really? At this point I was thinking great now I feel unsafe and disgusted) She gave us a new room on a different floor. I made my boyfriend go in first this time. Luckily, this room was unoccupied, however it was not so clean. The beds were made but, the linens and covers were all stained, dirty towels hung in bathroom also. Overall, it was a terrible experience!

Former Holiday InnPosted 28-Jan-2014
Checking in was slow. We were traveling with a dog and were placed on the sixth floor instead of at the back of the hotel on the ground floor - which is where dogs (and smokers) belong. The room was exceptionally small but seemed clean. It was was quiet, perhaps because the hotel was practically empty. The atmosphere was gloomy and the price was high. We will not stay there again.
