“Couples Tower Isle Fantastic Customer Service”
Just finishing up renovations so still some work going on. GM and staff extremely welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely go back. Beach wonderful, lots of chairs in shade & sun. Pools large and plenty of space. Food very good. Wine (only Cabernet, Merlot, Chardonay and Champagne) was acceptable.
“Relaxing Luxury”
The hotel grounds were beautiful and perfectly maintained. The food was very, very good at all restaurants. The service was above complaint. Any request was met with a "no problem". You never needed even a dollar at the hotel. Everyone was relaxed and enjoying their stay. This is a can't miss trip.
“Rendezvous to Couples Tower Isle”
Couples Tower Isle was a lovely resort. FOOD: all was excellent...except, amazingly, the Jerk Chicken at the pool grill - which was ok, but after having it from local vendors in the style of "drum pan chicken" it just didn't compare. My favorite was the Jamaican cuisine from the Beach Party night...mmmm! I think they should have MORE Jamaican food at the buffet too. BEACH: lovely, didn't have to wake up at 6am to get a beach chair! All chairs had cushions, very comfortable! The "swimming area" of the beach was quite small though, but was never crowded. POOLS: loved the swim up bar. Hot tubs were hit and miss with the temp. ROOM: started in Garden View and wasn't happy, small and many mosquitos. Upgraded to Ocean View and it changed the whole vacation, bigger room, beautiful view, breeze, waves crashing at night...loved it. Bed comfortable, linens and pillows soft. STAFF: amazing. Very nice and accommodating. Only 1 person was not very nice to me - a scuba instructor, who started the class early and turned us away for being late. SPA: best massage I've ever had! NEGATIVES: bathrooms and bar are very far away from the beach. VERY hard to find trash cans and ashtrays throughout the entire resort. NO ATM!!! - and $ 30 taxi to get to one! = didn't have $ to tip on the excursions :( You have to plan your entire stay the 1st day or 2 to ensure you make it on the excursions. Even then still missed many of them. Don't go here if you 2 aren't getting along! OVERALL: EXCELLENT RESORT!

Best All-inclusive ever
“Absolutely beautiful! We'll go back again & again!!!”
We didnt know where we were staying until a week before we left. We discovered we were being booked at the SANS SOUCI in Ocho Rios. I personally had never heard of the place before and was a bit scared at first at what we were in for. First, it was a 2 hour+ bus ride from the airport to there. I wasnt too crazy about that, (but I later ended up saying it's well worth the bus ride!) Reception at the resort was nice & friendly. We were welcomed with champagne and cold face towels. A staff member sat down with us in the lobby & personally went over everything with us at check in. You'll immediately notice this isnt like any "resort" you've been to before. The lobby and surrounding areas have a very "quaint" feel about it. Its almost like being on a privately owned property! After we did an initial walk about the resort, I kept telling my wife, it's as if they never cut down a tree or plant and just inserted a resort into the banks of the island! It was just amazing! The rooms were beautiful and spacious! A huge LCD TV mounted on the wall! Things were a little dated, but otherwise, excellent! It did add to the intimate feel of the resort. We went in Feb 2009. The resort was only maybe 80% full. No waiting at resturants. Minimal lines at buffets, no children!......we loved it!
“Great place”
Of the three Couples that I have been, best food. It's on a hill if you have a leg problem ask for A or B bldg. It is so beautiful.
“Planning to go back next year”
We were there for a delayed Honeymoon for 10 days over New year (Jan 2009). The place is amazing - beautiful grounds, service was great, food choice was also good. We had planned to take trips but we met some fun people and enjoyed the beach scene and scuba so much we just stayed around the resort. We were worried after reading some negative reviews, but our advice is to ignore them. We plan to make this an annual trip for New Year.
“Definitely going back!”
The 2 hour sketchy drive from the airport was well worth it! Couples Tower Isle was absolutely gorgeous, pristine, modern, and fun. The staff was extremely accomodating, "Yeah Mon" and friendly. All-inclusive is the way to go. The food and drinks were fabulous. If you're going to "party like a rock star" this isn't for you but if you want to meet some fun people, dance a bit, relax, enjoy some sailing, and have romantic evenings this is for you. My only complaints would be the snorkeling (it's been snorkeled out), and there's no long walks on the beach- it's isolated so you also don't get solicited. I absolutely recommend this trip!
