Terrible hotel

Staff was nice and friendly, but the too was ice cold untill I turned the heat on, there were cobwebs behind the doors, and the bed was only full size, not a queen as advertised. We were very disappointed.

Inadequate bed - disappointing overall

Pros: One staff member was quite amiable and came to our room to deliver a remote control for the television, (which had been missing from the room.)
Cons: Bed size and smoke / non-smoke policy should always be included in the pre-purchase information.
The motel was generally in mediocre condition, not very clean, staff not consistently well-trained or cordial. Worst of all for me and my wife was that the bed turned out to be a "double" and not a queen or king. During about 10 days of consecutive cross-country travel, we have never encountered a bed this small and believed that no one even uses this size any more (except perhaps in VERY low-budget facilities - which this was NOT) We were too crowded to sleep well, but didn't complain at the time. It is not our habit to complain normally - we just don't return to such facilities and advise our friends and contacts to avoid them as well.

Very bad

Room was dirty WiFi signal too weak to connect in my room . I was unable to work. Plug in on the lamp was missing Only 1 available / functionin outlet no tissue/Shampoo/conditioner or soap unless you count the used ones still in the shower. I'm sure the one towel I had was also dirty as it was stiff, as if had been re folded after being wet. The bathroom smelled like urine. Old food still in the mini fridge. And I reserved a king size and was given a queen Size. I complained, but the poor girl at the desk couldn't help. I listened to 2 other grossed out customers with similar complaints before me. I am a medical sales rep. I travel 4 days a week. I can overlook small mistakes, they happen but the overall nastiness has left me very upset to say the very least. I'd appreciate my money back as not one of my expectations were met.

Our original room appeared to have been a smoking room, and the desk clerk willingly changed us. The breakfast was adequate, but I was bothered by 'fresh squeezed orange juice' which was not even orange juice, but orange drink. Lots of fruit, but no place to wash it.

Pros: Location
Cons: This hotel is in need of major repairs and a change in ownership. The current owners don't understand how to run a hotel in America.
Unfortunately my usual picks were sold out (Hilton Garden, Fairfield, Holiday Inn Express). No internet, no breakfast, door broken, towel rack broken, outlets broken, no lights on in hallways. Word is half the rooms are out of order and employees aren't being paid on time. I don't have particularly high standards, and I don't usually write reviews, but I would avoid this hotel at ALL COSTS. Stay at the Super 8.

The GNATS where horrible and they did not have breakfast ready the chef was late and breakfast was over by the time he showed up. I wouldnt book it again

Not at all what I expected!

From what I read on hotels.com and the pictures I really expected this place to be nicer! There were put of order signs on half the rooms, the pillows on the bed where so worn they could barely even be called pillows. The stairs had rust that was falling off of them. My husband and I were in the room 15 minutes before deciding we couldn't stay there and went to get a room from another hotel down the street!
