“More than a hostel”

Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast and lovely pool area. Drinks, snacks and water are very reasonably priced and you meet interesting people from all over the world.

“Feels like Spring Break in Iguazu”

If you're looking for a "spring break" party, then this is the place to be. The hostal has a low-budget resort feel. Since it is a few miles outside of town (which doesn't have much anyway), the hostal is a good place to just hang out. It was really easy to catch a bus to the Falls or to town from the hostal but you may have to wait awhile for the right bus. The hostal caters to a younger crowd and had many amenities and activities such as pizza night, happy hours, outdoor pool, ping pong tables, pool table, several computers, etc. in a large communal area. The hostal also offered a storage room for your bags but although it was a locked room, anybody could ask for the key to access it. There were a lot of people staying at this hostal as there were lots of dorm rooms. Our private room was down the corridor behind the reception area and the entire hallway smelled like sewage. The smell was extremely strong in the room. The in-room TV did not work and sparks flew when we plugged in the air conditioner. The room itself was dirty and was in need of new paint. In the common area, there were a lot of flies and garbage and dirty dishes laying around. The cafeteria was surprisingly good and of good value. The food was very tasty, came in large portions, and inexpensive.
