Temptation Resort & Spa All Inclusive is located in the Cancún Hotel Zone, within 5 km (3 miles) of the Cancún Convention Center and downtown.

A health spa offers massage, body wraps and scrubs, Vichy showers, and hair and nail care (surcharges for all services). The spa includes one treatment room with a candle wall and a garden-view window with flowing water; women's and men's steam rooms; and a sauna. Seven outdoor spa tubs, a sports activity pool, and tour desk are on site. A complimentary fitness center is fully-equipped with cardio machines, a Universal gym, and free weights.
Four lobby computers provide high-speed Internet access (surcharges).

This all-inclusive Cancun resort offers 384 guestrooms in 10 three- and four-story buildings without elevators. Brightly-lit rooms are decorated in a contemporary style with traditional Mexican flare. Accommodations include a one king or two double beds, and allow space for up to three guests. All feature balconies or ground-floor terraces with garden or ocean views. Just a few amenities include a direct-dial telephone, individual climate control, and a variety of toiletries.

El Embarcadero – Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and buffet dinner daily. Dinner themes change nightly and include Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, barbeque, Caribbean, Asian, and other International themes. Open daily from early morning until noon for breakfast, afternoons for lunch, and early- to late-evening for dinner.
Il Piacere – Gourmet Italian restaurant illuminated by candlelight and featuring sounds of a cascading wall water sculpture. Open evenings. Reservations required. Dress code: No sandals, tank tops, pool shorts. (Dress shorts acceptable.)

Three pools provide different ambiences. A 45.75-meter-long (50-yard) freeform activities pool features music, a swim-up bar, and four jetted sections. A 14.5-meter-square (16-yard-square) sports pool includes volleyball and basketball nets. Bordered by lawn and garden, a "quiet pool" arcs 55 meters (60 yards), includes three jetted sections, and features a swim-up bar. The resort's beach frontage extends 300 meters (328 yards) along the north, or bay, side of Cancún Island, where water remains calm in most weather.
As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, the resort supplies Hobie Cat sailboats, kayaks, and windsurfers. An independent operator at the resort rents personal watercraft, catamaran sailboats, and snorkeling gear as well as offers parasailing flights and scuba-diving excursions for surcharges.
An on-site spa offers a variety of body treatments, massages, facials, and waxing which utilize indigenous oils and lotions from Mexico. Four private treatment rooms and one couples treatment room; two large Jacuzzis with views of the garden; co-ed Swedish sauna; and male and female changing rooms equipped with lockers, bathrooms, steam rooms, and showers are additional included amenities. Guests also have access to tennis facilities at Blue Bay Cancun, the property's partner resort.

“We will return!”
We had a great time. We were there during the "off" season, end of May/first of June. So there was a little confusion with what pool bars were open as well as the restaurant schedules, which was open and when. Our shower was luke warm at best, but nothing we couldn't deal with. The Asian restaurant was excellent, but has a dress code. BUT WORTH IT!! Be sure to take some small bills to pay with or change out. Make sure you know they exchange rate - so they don't cheat you. Depending on your location - which currency gets you the best deal!
“Temptation is amazing, even the fourth time.”
Temptation is such an amazing resort! The staff is always friendly, and even on our fourth visit, we're still finding new things to do. The hotel is always very clean and the atmosphere is perfect... From slow and lazy in the morning to partying all afternoon/night. Overall, a great time at a great resort! Yes, we'll be back again!
“I would definitely go back!!”
I was very impressed with the hospitality and friendlyness of the hotel employees. They were all so helpful and they worked very hard to keep their hotel tidy and clean. They all deserve a raise.
“Better than expected”
We read so many reviews that complained about things like the beach or the coffee, we thought we might be in for a few disappointments. This was definitely not the case. The place is operated very well from the cleanliness of the place to the food service. If I were to make one change toTemptations Resort, I would have the staff back off a little bit from the membership sales pitch. We avoided the trap but others who went to the seminar felt like they squandered their time. We had one hell of a good time and would love to get back there again.

Our second time to Temptations and the service was better than last year. If you are looking for a relaxing, adult-oriented time without distractions then we would recommend. Beds are a bit firm and your should expect adults to act as you would think in a child-free, topless environment. The staff was VERY attentive and we viewed the entire premises as fully staffed. No complaints at all there. The centrally positioned outdoor night bar is great with a lot of attendance. Enjoy and talk to the bartenders! Don't expect too much beach and get your poolside chairs early. Go south if you are looking for ocean water. A fun, social place - we'll go again.
“It's fun, just go!!!”
We were really surprised at what a great time we had. Rooms were great, staff was great, drinks were great, other people there were great too. We know what to look for when it comes to swingers and yeah they're there (they deserve a vacation too :) ) but it's not open and crazy. If you aren't looking, you won't find it. You could probably go you're whole vacation without talking to anyone there, but what fun would that be? This is a place that you will go to and want to enjoy yourself, get out there and meet people. If you have any doubts about this property, just go and try it. Let your hair down, enjoy yourself, get to know your partner again. My husband and I had such a fun time, we'll be back next year for sure. We were worried that the place would be scummy or full of creepy freaks, it was neither. Just a good time and a great place! P.S. The staff is awesome!!! They take great care of you, don't forget to take good care of them, they deserve it!

There was a really great mix of age-groups. We are our 30's and were able to make some great friends our age while there were plenty of older and younger people there as well. The food was outstanding. We really enjoyed all of our options. We would eat at the buffet for breakfast, the Tex- Mex for lunch and usually had reservations at one of the restaurants in the evening. The room location was GREAT. We were right at the Quiet pool with a view of the ocean. We never heard a peep out of anyone and our bed was a pillow top so sleeping was fabulous all week. One member of our group would wake up early and snag a few chairs. We didn't have a problem until the last day when a couple of obnoxious boys took one of our chairs and towels. It was quickly solved though and really didn't cause that much of a problem. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. We were there during the classic "Spring Break" time and the 21+ age limit excluded a lot of the party types and it was great. If you wanted to hang out with the major partiers you could go to the clubs at night. If you didn't you could stay in at Paty O's and have a great night! Next time, 10 days. 7 just wasn't enough!

This was a very fun resort to stay at and met some wonderful people. Temptation also has great employees in the bars! The rooms are nice; however, the beds are very hard. The beach is not very nice by this resort and the water smells. However, the pools are very nice.
