We have been coming to this hotel as an annual family tradition for more than 15 years, which makes this review particularly disappointing. Year after year, the prices continue to rise, but unfortunately, the quality and value seem to be moving in the opposite direction. Despite having been renovated within the last few years, our room was already severely worn, noticeably dirty, and poorly maintained. Several appliances were not working properly. At the price this hotel now charges, the condition of the room was simply unacceptable. The pool area is still great and remains one of the best features of the property. Unfortunately, the service was consistently slow, and the drinks were extremely overpriced, even by resort standards. What is most disappointing is remembering how great this hotel used to be. For years, we looked forward to returning and never questioned making it our annual family destination. Now, we find ourselves paying considerably more for a noticeably diminished experience.
