I was celebrating my 38 yr anniversary. We stay for five days downtown Vancouver. I like that hotel was around everything. The hotel was very expensive I thought, the pictures they showed online was much prettier than the actual suite I purchased. The fridge was not working good and the space was tight I thought. Stayed five days and no cleaning service they told us. The suite was outdated, like it needed to be mopped the floors .Overall the level Vancouver Yorktown Seymour hotel and suite was ok. But I was still disappointed with the room. I was on the first floor . We just made the best of the stay.

This was honestly one of the worst and most stressful accommodation experiences I have ever had. The property was completely false advertising. The photos online do not reflect the actual condition of this place at all. The pool was fifty and unusable, the hot tub looked like it had been simply shocked instead of properly cleaned, the dock/waterfront area was covered in debris, old tires and garage. The outdoor furniture was old, dirty and obviously had not been maintained for a very long time. The only thing working outside was the gas fire-pit and the host still had to come fill the empty tank the only time I used it. Inside the house, multiple things were broken or barely functioning. Dining room chair leg-broken, microwave handle was seriously hanging off, NONE of the TVs worked the entire stay. The Host/Cleaner was extremely unprofessional, especially when I had my guests over. She’s was frantically cleaning BBQ, blowing debris of outdoor furniture, draining pool, asking my guest to help carry empty tanks etc and without me knowing, offering wine to them from her purse? She left all her cleaning on ground to get a hot tub filter and came back with new nails? No drinking water. When we expressed our concerns and asked for some compensation, instead of handing things professionally, the owner fully refunded our stay and then threatened to call the police if we did not leave immediately. I was traveling alone and have lung disease, making this extremely upsetting.

It is a great place to stay. The location is very convenient to the sky train, Richmond and the airport.
