(969 reviews) I stayed at this hotel on a half-board basis and overall felt it was good value for money. The food was buffet style. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and at dinner there was always enough variety to find something to eat. The only downside was that some of the hot dishes could occasionally be a little lukewarm. The complex itself is quite large, with several smaller pools as well as a bigger main pool. It’s also possible to walk from the hotel down to the beachfront, which is convenient if you want to eat out or explore the area. The rooms include a small kitchen area with a fridge, which was really useful for keeping drinks and snacks. My room had a balcony, although it didn’t get much direct sunlight as it was north facing, so it wasn’t ideal for drying swimwear. There is also a self-service laundry on site with two washers and two dryers, which was simple and convenient to use. The staff were hardworking, always present around the complex, and helpful whenever needed. There is also bicycle hire within the complex offering a great range of bikes. The staff there were very helpful, offering advice on various cycling routes around the area. They were professional, friendly, and seemed to be experienced cyclists themselves, which made it easy to get good local recommendations. We had access to the preferred breakfast restaurant and the lounge which we made great use of. The only thing lacking was energy. I have been to secrets resorts in Mexico and they were so much fun. This resort was quite snoozy for us (31, and 32). It was mostly couples 45+, so keep this in mind if you want to go all inclusive and have a more upbeat vibe with more activities. The music by the preferred pool was very quiet and mellow, and the preferred lounge was so quiet you could hear a pin drop - some music would be nice to make the lounge feel more welcoming. Room for improvement- better sport facilities (seperate football, basketball and Tennis court( rather than them all together and a terrible booking system where soneone can book all day every day and not even turn up.
