One of the best hotels i have been in!!! The staff ate welcoming and always there for whatever you need.i recommend everyone to try especially if you are traveling with family.

Incredible stay at the Explorean. The staff were all so attentive and nice. Beautiful and clean resort.

We stayed in one of the oceanfront jacuzzi suites. Our view was incredible! The bed was comfortable and there was a small fridge. The hotel provides bottled water and we had breakfast included which was a hot breakfast, eggs/sausage plus yogurt and fruit. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful small hotel. The staff was amazing, went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. We will definitely be back!

A solid 4 star resort. Perfect for late Spring, off-peak travel. I could see the pool/beach club and restaurants feeling crowded during peak travel weeks. Easy to relax at without being overstimulated too often.

We always love staying at the Riu Palace Peninsula! It never disappoints. Staff is great, food is great, beach and pools are great!

We came here with 2 babies and a 4 year old and grandparents. Everyone had an incredible food! Food was great! Service was excellent! Nothing felt too rushed! Pools and hot tubs were very accessible and I love that it’s not a huge resort so it was very easy to get around with children!

We apparently traveled to Cancun wrong time of year. There was so much seaweed. There was no use of the beach. No swimming was allowed. The pools are fantastic. The staff was great. The food was amazing. Just sad. We couldn’t use the beach.

This is the best resort we have ever stayed at. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, the breakfast buffet is delicious and varied, there is world class snorkeling right off the resort's beach, and a gorgeous infinty pool and a tranquility pool to relax in. Staff wil deliver food and drinks anywhere you ask them to. Don't miss the delicious and creative cocktails at Le Cap, especially the frozen ones with local mezcal. This is the third time in three years we have visited, and we will go back again.

The resort is in transition where they are taking what were three properties (A Sunscape that is out of business now, a Secrets, and a Dreams) and making a big Dreams resort. The spa offered hair services but there was no one to do braids for my wife so she could have them to protect her hair while we were there. We usually try to use the service to give some more business to the resort when we go. The male night conceierge on Sunday April 20 made my wife feel incredibly inconvenient when she spoke about struggling to find gluten free food to meet her Celiac needs. The asian restaurant had advertised GF options but then said they couldn't help us. Then Eloisa (manager Market Cafe), Victor (Oceana manager), and Gabriel (Concierge) came to the rescue to make sure my wife was well fed. The beach is beautiful and pools were well kept. There are fish a plenty so bring your desires to snorkel while remaining on resort but bring water shoes to protect your feet. I think when the remodel is complete it will be a very big and beautiful resort. Presently it is an intimate resort with less amenities. In an ideal world they would complete the renovation to Dreams and leave the Secrets alone with ability to use the additional amenities that would result from the Dreams renovation.

Very satisfied with the resort. Loved everything about it especially the natural environment all around you. The also have a great jewelry store Le Vount. They were very helpful in designing a couple of bracelets for me and had them ready in two days They were everything I wanted. Totally love them
